The Holy Bible, divinely inspired, reveals God to humanity. It is a flawless treasure of guidance, authored by God, aiming for salvation. Its content is pure truth. "All Scripture is inspired by God" (2 Timothy 3:16). "You shall know the truth" (John 8:32).
Humanity, created in God's image, represents the pinnacle of His creation, with both male and female embodying divine goodness (Genesis 1:27). Initially innocent and granted free will, humanity chose to disobey God, introducing sin into the world (Romans 5:12). Tempted by Satan, this transgression led to a fall from grace, resulting in an inherited inclination toward sin for all descendants (Ephesians 2:3). This narrative highlights the significance of free choice and the inherent struggle against the sinful nature present in human existence. Embrace the hope of redemption through faith (John 3:16).
Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. It is consistent with the free agency of man, and comprehends all the means in connection with the end. It is the glorious display of God’s sovereign goodness, and is infinitely wise, holy, and unchangeable. It excludes boasting and promotes humility.
Christian baptism involves immersing believers in water, signifying their faith and obedience to the triune God. This act symbolizes their identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, illustrating their transition from a life of sin to renewed existence in Him. It's a declaration of faith in the promise of resurrection. As an essential church ordinance, it grants access to church membership and participation in the Lord's Supper. Relevant scripture includes Romans 6:4 and Matthew 28:19, highlighting the importance and meaning of this sacred ritual.
There exists a singular, living God who embodies intelligence and spirituality. As the Creator and Sustainer, He rules over all. Infinite in holiness and perfection, He possesses unmatched power and wisdom, knowing all things—past, present, and future (Isaiah 40:28; Psalm 147:5). His sovereign knowledge includes the choices of free beings, reflecting His ultimate authority (Proverbs 16:9).
Salvation, encompassing regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification, is freely given to all who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Through His blood, eternal redemption is granted to believers. No one can achieve salvation without personal faith in Christ. "For by grace you have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8). "He who believes in Him is not condemned" (John 3:18).
A New Testament church embodies a self-governing community of baptized believers united in faith and gospel fellowship. Following Christ's teachings, they practice baptism and the Lord's Supper, upholding His commandments (Matthew 28:19-20). Empowered by spiritual gifts, they prioritize sharing the gospel globally (Mark 16:15). Operating under Christ’s authority and democratic principles, such congregations cultivate a vibrant and engaged faith community, driven by love and mission (Acts 2:42-47).
The Lord’s Day, marking the week's start, honors Christ's resurrection and calls for worship and spiritual devotion. Activities conducted should align with individual conscience under Jesus’ guidance. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy" (Exodus 20:8). "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24).
We live in a broken world, surrounded by broken lives,
broken relationships, and broken systems. This brokenness is seen in suffering, violence, poverty, pain, and death around us. Brokenness leads us to search for a way to make LIFE work.
In contrast to this brokenness, we also see beauty,
purpose and evidence of design around us. The Bible tells us that God originally planned a world that worked perfectly — where everything and everyone fit together in harmony. God made each of us with a purpose — to worship Him and walk with Him.
The Bible says:
Genesis 1:31
Psalm 19:1
Life doesn’t work when we ignore God and His
original design for our lives. We selfishly insist on doing things our own way. The Bible calls this sin. We all sin and distort the original design.
The consequence of our sin is separation from
God — in this life and for all of eternity.
The Bible says:
Romans 3:23
Romans 6:23
Sin leads to a place of brokenness. We see this all
around us and in our own lives as well. When we realize LIFE is not working, we begin to look for a way out. We tend to go in many directions trying different things to figure it out on our own. Brokenness leads to a place of realizing a need for something greater.
The Bible says:
Romans 1:25
Proverbs 14:12
At this point we need a remedy — some good
news. Because of His love, God did not leave us in our
brokenness. Jesus, God in human flesh, came to us
and lived perfectly according to God’s Design.
Jesus came to rescue us — to do for us what we
could not do for ourselves. He took our sin and
shame to the cross, paying the penalty of our sin
by His death. Jesus was then raised from the dead
— to provide the only way for us to be rescued
and restored to a relationship with God.
The Bible says:
John 3:16
Colossians 2:14
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Simply hearing this Good News is not enough.
We must admit our sinful brokenness and stop
trusting in ourselves. We don’t have the power to
escape this brokenness on our own. We need to
be rescued.
We must ask God to forgive us — turning from sin
to trust only in Jesus. This is what it means to
repent and believe.
Believing, we receive new life through Jesus and
God turns our lives in a new direction.
The Bible says:
Mark 1:15
Ephesians 2:8-9
Romans 10:9
When God restores our relationship to Him, we
begin to discover meaning and purpose in a
broken world. Now we can pursue God’s Design in
all areas of our lives.
Even when we fail, we understand God’s pathway
to be restored – this same Good News of Jesus.
God’s Spirit empowers us to recover His Design
and assures us of His presence in this life and for
all of eternity.
The Bible says:
Philippians 2:13
Ephesians 2:10
